Produced from 70 to 80 year-old Grenache vines, which give an intense ‘fruit-preserve’ concentration, with flavours of loganberry, damson and a pleasing dark chocolate bitterness. The wine carries its density and volume with a lightness of touch and flowing quality. Fine-grained tannin and a fresh mineral acidity make for a wine that combines richness and depth with a focused and defined structure.
