Taut and self-contained on the nose, Les Clos always produced wines that are slow to come around, but that reward the patient. On the palate, this is extremely mineral, with notes of crushed chalk, toasted nuts and woodsmoke. Structurally refined, this is an extremely serious and tightly-wound wine, lightened and given balance by a beautiful freshness that elevates the finish.
