2006 Chablis 1er Cru Montée de Tonnerre, Billaud-Simon

Lemony green in colour with hints of pale gold. Produced from older vines (than the Mont de Milieu) and as a result showing a touch more weight. Harmonious and complete - nectarine and peach scents combine impressively with aromas of peach and apple. Beautifully textured and full of flair, this benchmark Chablis really delivers. The palate finishes with a rush of minerality.
