This is possibly the best village Chassagne we know, from a plot owned by Olivier Leflaive and planted in 1956. Les Houillères is situated directly below Bâtard-Montrachet and Le Montrachet, on the border with Puligny-Montrachet. It is classic Chassagne in 2015: citrus in character, with a linear nature and a lovely texture.
