The name is derived from the two parcels of vines used for the blend, Crotots and Les Clous. While this is rich and full on the nose, with notes of ripe citrus and peach, the structure on the palate is far more taut and structural. There is a great depth of ripe fruit, with white stone fruit notes, yet it is balanced by mouthwatering acidity and a pronounced minerality, giving this a delighful, balanced character. Serious and finely-tuned Meursault.
