Always a favourite of ours, this vintage is no exception. Lemon sherbet and peach notes come through on the appealing nose, drawing one into the wine. The rich core is full and rounded, with a creamy-nature to the fruit, yet it is all beautifully balanced by an attractive citrus acidity. A stony minerality gives this a taut structure and sense of poise. Very good, quite classic-seeming Meursault.
