2008 Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Le Cailleret, Domaine de Montille
Domaine de Montille is fortunate to own a holding of 40 year old vines (single plantation) in this superbly situated site. Caillerets is relatively small and sits on the magic fault-line next to Le Montrachet. This is rich, yet with a steely backbone and racy acidity. A truly lovely wine and certainly one of the best whites tasted during our trip.
