2006 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru La Grande Montagne, Olivier Leflaive

2006 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru La Grande Montagne, Olivier Leflaive

This vineyard is described by winemaker Franck Grux as lying in no mans land, on account of the fact that it does not border any other vineyard sitting alone on the top of the slope. The nose reveals pronounced, bold, ripe fruit, with grapefruit, peach and nectarine notes. Opulent and generous, there is a fine intensity and a well integrated acidity. Very complete and harmonious this reveals terrific finesse for its level.
