2004 Montrachet Grand Cru, Etienne Sauzet
Rich broad aromas of ripe fruit and a hint of hazelnut. The palate shows exotic fruit with great intensity. A concentrated wine where layers of weighty fruit balanced superbly with ripe fruit acids. Substantial but surprisingly light on its feet. Minerally and firm, this shows terrific potential.
