2017 Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru, Domaine de Montille
De Montille hold just 0.29 hectares of this sprawling grand cru. Incredible depth here, silky and fine: structurally very Côte de Nuits. There are fine tannins that build, with lovely delicacy and yet power on the finish, which is serious with spice and dark fruit. Impressive.
