This stony vineyard, at the centre of the hill, is one of the best sites in the whole appellation. Vines over fifty years old deliver an intensely pure Corton du Roi. In 2017 it is very good with good length, nice energy and impressive purity. Its texture is notable, with a persistent finish - charming, with the stuffing and the finesse one would expect at this address.
