2014 Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru, Domaine de Montille
De Montille’s small holdings in the middle of the Clos, from just over on the Chambolle side, is delicious in 2014. Sadly there is so very little made, but this has spice, deep fruit concentration, fine but grippy tannins. It is so dense it is sensuous, whilst the finish is very long, juicy, lifted and gorgeous.
