2013 Morey-Saint-Denis 1er Cru La Riotte, Domaine Taupenot-Merme
Having been blown away by the village Morey, this somehow manages to be a serious step up in quality. The concentration is spectacular, the quality and purity of the fruit is sensational. You could easily be tricked into drinking this wine too young due to its vibrancy, but make no mistake, there is the structure for the long haul.
