2013 Pommard 1er Cru Les Pézerolles, Domaine de Montille
Les Pézerolles is a somewhat atypical Pommard, and almost more Volnay in style. Though it has fantastic density and good structure, by Pommard standards it is an almost painfully pretty wine. Aromatic, the purity of fruit is just fantastic. This is a fine, supremely balanced wine which has taken all the positives from the vintage: freshness, elegance and purity of fruit.
