2011 Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Les Reignots, Domaine Arnoux-Lachaux
One of the most desirable 1er Crus in Vosne and one could argue where the ‘value’ lies in Burgundy. The soil here is extremely thin, some vines were panted with the aid of dynamite! Seductive wine with a refined character which combines red/black fruit and a mineral edge. This is an overtly aromatic wine which should remain open in bottle and develop a wide range of flavours.
