Louis' plot in Les Brouillards was planted 60 years ago and these old vines show off the character of this vineyard, which touches Pommard. It borrows some of this neighbour's body and tannic structure to form a more masculine, spicy style of Volnay, with tight, grippy structure, dense mid-palate and a powerful, long finish.
