Made from 60+-year-old vines. A later malolactic fermentation means this showed more woody notes at this stage, but it was still plush, polished and cordial. Cassis on the nose and palate. Rich and bold yet wonderfully refined and elegant. There is a real concentration of flavour and aroma thanks to Manou and Frédéric's clonal selection that produces small grapes and very little juice. At this stage, this shows just a glimpse of what is to come from this amazing wine.
