2010 Volnay 1er Cru Les Mitans, Domaine de Montille
Situated mid-way up the Côtes with a due east exposure. The wine displays a delicate floral nose and a palate of earthy autumnal notes, with a hint of spice and grippy tannins. This already has a presence that will undoubtedly gain with time spent in bottle.
