2010 Vosne-Romanée, Georges Mugneret-Gibourg
Notes of perfumed red berries rise from the glass and carry through onto a palate of finely tuned tannins. This is an incredibly elegant Vosne; poised, attractive and appealing. There is a sense of depth here and considerably greater structure than the Bourgogne Rouge, but it is balanced by what Marie-Christine described as its "energy" and "nervosité".
