This perfectly situated Premier Cru Pernand vineyard has cool clay-based soils, which work so well in the sunny 2009 vintage. With sweet black-cherry fruit, grilled herbs and a lovely mineral underbelly. It has a serious tannic weight and lots of dry extract for a wine at this price.
