2009 Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru, Domaine de Montille
Pretty on the nose, with notes of violet and wild strawberry. Feminine in nature, this is not a showy wine, but refined and elegant. The tannins provide not-inconsiderable structure, but seem
perfectly balanced in the context of the fruit and freshness to be found. Needs a little time to unwind, but shows great potential.
