2009 Beaune 1er Cru Les Sizies, Domaine de Montille
A Lay & Wheeler favourite, this does not disappoint in this vintage. Wild strawberry notes to the fore on the nose and carrying onto the palate, where they are joined by well-integrated, but robust tannins. There is a lovely freshness evident, making this an elegant and pretty Beaune.
