Suchots produces some of the best wines in Vosne-Romanée, sharing soil profile with Romanée-St-Vivant and La Romanée Conti. Powerful, seductive and with amazing balance, it is spicy, with notes of crushed raspberry and iron. The tannins are firm, but sweet, and lead to a long finish.
