2008 Fixin 'Champs Pennebaut', Denis Mortet
The Mortets acquired their holding in Fixin at the same time as their vineyards in Marsannay and approach it with the same philosophy and care. Real intensity and depth, both on nose and palate. Deep in the glass, it smells as it looks, with notes of flint, crushed raspberry and iron. This is a great Fixin, which will develop wonderfully in the bottle.
