2007 Morey-St-Denis 1er Cru Les Loups, Domaine des Lambrays

Thierry Brouin advised that the Les Loups cuvée includes a proportion of fruitfrom the young vines of Clos des Lambrays. As with the Clos, we tasted an assemblage drawn from barrels of new, one and two year wood. Lush, pure and generously open. Unforced, natural, beautifully pure and finishing with a deft touch of spices. The domaine is one of several that, in our view, have in 2007 surpassed the quality achieved in the previous vintage.
