2005 Nuits-St-Georges 1er Cru Les Porrets St-Georges, Alain Michelot
In the south of the appellation, Les Porrets is one of the largest Premiers Cru sites of which Alain Michelot cultivates 0.5 hectares, half of which was planted in 1928. Creamy notes on the nose overlay a dense core of ripe, fresh, dark red fruit. The palate is full and rich, firmly tannic but with lovely chewy fruit-skin tannins. Classic Nuits-St-Georges.
