Not as giving aromatically as Les Loups, though an element of floral/fragrant ripe fruits and pepper still comes to the fore. The palate reveals a sublime richness, voluminous, with mouthfilling, layered fruit – indeed spice-infused fruit, foresty in nature and reminiscent of loganberry. A generous style with such an abundance of appealing fruit and terrific harmony. So moreish, this will prove to be a very attractive young grand cru, but with plenty to offer the patient.
