A very impressive Sauternes, which was one of the best we tasted on our recent visit to Bordeaux. An intense floral nose with hints of lime, melon and sweet spice is followed by a concentrated, luscious palate of orange peel, ripe peach and a slight botrytis spice. The acidity is perfectly judged and the finish intense and lingering. This has the poise, weight and balance to provide enjoyment for many years.
