1999 La Mondotte, Grand Cru St-Emilion

1999 La Mondotte, Grand Cru St-Emilion

Aromatic and enticing on the nose, with notes of liquorice, brambly frit and flint. The palate is full-bodied and opulent, with rich dark berry fruit to the fore, alongside fine, layered tannins and subtle notes of woodsmoke. Very long on the finish. An extremely good, modern St. Emilion.
