2017 Château Ducru-Beaucaillou, Cru Classé St-Julien

2017 Château Ducru-Beaucaillou, Cru Classé St-Julien

Ducru's nose is just stunning: superbly expressive and perfumed. There's cedar, a touch of smoke, lavender, and lovely pure blackcurrant fruit. The tannins are silky and there's obvious drive and energy on the palate. Excellent length, and the flavours just keep building.

Tasting notes

Holy.... This is so powerful and dense with amazing depth of fruit and beautifully ripe tannins tannins. Full body, layers of fruit and tannins. It’s has a long finish but then kicks off at the end. Remains classic in style.
