The 2016 Croix Canon is an intense, structured second wine, with a huge potential for ageing. Notes of cassis and ripe plums on the nose, with fine grained yet considerable tannins, and the mineral finish you’d expect from top wines from St-Emilion’s limestone plateau. Brilliantly judged, and very long indeed.
