2013 Pauillac de Château Latour, Pauillac

2013 Pauillac de Château Latour, Pauillac

Notes of plum and dark cherry mould with silky tannins and graphite hints, and remarkable length for a wine of this price. It comes from young vines throughout the estate, including some from the celebrated ‘L’enclos’ vineyard. It’s a wonderful taste of Château Latour.

Tasting notes

Medium garnet in color, the 2013 Le Pauillac de Château Latour—a blend of 45% Cabernet Sauvignon, 54% Merlot and 1% Cabernet Franc—offers up notions of baked cherries, warm mulberries and plum preserves with touches of spice cake and dusty soil. Medium-bodied, soft, juicy and with loads of red and black fruit preserves flavors, it finishes on a refreshing earthy note.
