This surely has to be one of the best value appellations in Bordeaux; under the guidance of the Moueix family this estate is producing serious wines of superb quality. The 2013 opens on a vibrant nose of strawberries and raspberries, underscored by subtle floral and mineral notes. The palate has considerable weight and depth for a wine at this level and the spicy finish with grippy tannins suggests some time in bottle will reap rewards.
