A fantastic first wine from Cheval Blanc, who, rather frankly, described the 2013 vintage as a minefield! Impeccable vineyard management, strict selection of fruit and low yields have led to a resulting wine which has intense aromas of raspberry, cherry and rose. The palate is ripe, silky and smooth – and the oak very well integrated. One of the top reds of the vintage.
