The perfumed nose reveals gentle aromas of ripe dark berry fruits and woodsmoke, whilst the palate is ripe and rich – with the alcohol well in balance, well integrated, fine tannins and a pure, fresh finish. This is a charming wine and, whilst not a blockbuster, will provide graceful, stylish drinking.
