However, the Grand Vin in this vintage is undoubtedly one of the wines of the vintage, capitalising in conditions that turned out to be ideal for their terroir and varieties. Blason de l'Evangile is usually excellent value and offers an earlier drinking style of the monumental Château l'Evangile itself.
