2012 Château Beauregard, Pomerol
2012 is undoubtedly a year in which Pomerol has shone and Beauregard has performed incredibly well. The wine is a little closed on the nose at this early stage, wakening slowly to give subtle notes of spice and plum. The palate is supremely well balanced between rich fruit and racy acidity, with grainy, chalky tannins giving a cool, taut structure. Pure, mineral and very Pomerol.
