2011 Château Cheval-Blanc, 1er Grand Cru Classé (A) St-Emilion

2011 Château Cheval-Blanc, 1er Grand Cru Classé (A) St-Emilion

This is the first Cheval-Blanc to be produced in their brand new and visually stunning, state-of-the-art chais - enabling the team to pick and vinify each parcel of vines at optimum ripeness. Scented, floral top notes with a hint of lavender are overlaid by vibrant black berry fruit and a note of pure cocoa on the finish. A tour-de-force in winemaking and tannin management, the richness of weight and texture envelopes the mouth, whilst retaining an overall sense of freshness and elegance.
