2010 Château Angélus, 1er Grand Cru Classé St-Emilion

2010 Château Angélus, 1er Grand Cru Classé St-Emilion

Relatively restrained on the nose, with notes of dark berries awoken in time, alongside some spice and oak. On the palate, the tannins are robust, but very fine, adding structure to the rich, ripe dark fruit core. More restrained in style than the 2009, but this is an appealing and charming wine nonetheless.
