2009 Château Beauregard, Pomerol
Classic on the nose, with notes of ripe red cherry, charcoal and cassis. The palate has a lovely depth and freshness that is only found in top vintages. Beautifully proportioned, with a floral lift to the long juicy finish. A plump, fragrant Pomerol that will be approachable relatively early and should offer excellent value in this vintage.
