From the Cuvelier stable than produces Léoville Poyferré, the ‘Cru Bourgeois’ Le Crock is one of the best properties within that designation. With vineyards close to Montrose and Cos D’Estournel, it certainly punches above its weight and has a strong family resemblance to the family’s more exalted wines. Spicy, overtly fruity and with a rich finish.
