The vineyard is fabulously situated on the plateau next to Pétrus and this property has produced the wine that Edouard Moueix is happiest with in 2009. Heady on the nose, with notes of figs, blossom and spice box. On the palate, this has a lovely texture and serious weight of tannin, coupled with juicy acidity and a long complex finish. 2006 and 2008 were fantastic wines , but this is a considerable step up.Robert Parker: 98-100 points (Wine Advocate 188)
