An exemplary wine in 2007. The fruit has a delightful weight and persistence on the palate framed by very fine tannins. Natural and unforced, with an elegant harmony and a flowing texture. The quality reflects the meticulous attention to detail, and hard work, in the vineyards here. The château performed two green and one pink harvests during the growing season. They took the bold decision to remove all of the leaves around the fruit at the end of August in order to expose the fruit to the sunshine, which fortunately arrived in September.
