2006 Château La Serre, Grand Cru Classé St-Emilion

Dark morello cherry on the nose, with just a hint of brambly dark berry fruit. The tannins
are fine and ripe, and the fruit character is soft, full and glossy with blackberry and
loganberry notes. There is an elevating freshness here, and a touch of stony minerality;
the finish is highly attractive – long and fragrant. This is very well made,well-knit stemilion.
