Year in, year out, Olivier produces an honest bordeaux that is full of character and brings cheer to consumers who wish to purchase quality at a modest price. Again in 2006, Charmail is a wine that should be on everyone’s shopping list. The nose of 2006 Charmail is vibrant and pure with fresh, curranty fruit in the ascendant. The palate is natural and unforced with an appealing vibrancy. The component parts are 45% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Cabernet Franc and the remainder Petit Verdot. All in all a most attractive bordeaux.
