Stylistically, this is in a similar vein to Grand-Puy-Lacoste. Showing modest intensity in the glass, the aromas suggest ripe currants and softskinned dark fruit. Layered, fine and feminine in style, there is a lovely texture to this pauillac. Light to mid-weight, with soft tannins and supple, ripe fruit with a juicy blackcurrant accent. Very appealing, this will be ready to drink soon after shipment. Very classy for its level, but not a vin de garde.
