An absolutely glorious wine that sets the heart racing with its exquisite compendium of scents and flavours. A wonderfully complete Cabernet Sauvignon-dominated margaux that is a tour de force in vinous excellence. Stunningly broad and complex. Fruit is both ultra pure and vividly fresh. Director Paul Pontallier explained that tannin levels are the highest ever at the property, but there is no sensation of obtrusive tannins such is the volume of all-enveloping fruit and elegance in this fabulous wine. One cannot help but wax lyrical about this '05 that will go into the history as a legend in the annals of a great property.
