2004 Château Duhart-Milon-Rothschild, Cru Classé Pauillac

2004 Château Duhart-Milon-Rothschild, Cru Classé Pauillac

A large proportion of the vineyard of Duhart-Milon was replanted in the last ten to fifteen years and finally a sense of depth is returning to a wine that always showed promise. The nose displays some of the capsicum aromas as well as ripe, dark-berry fruits associated with Cabernet, while the palate is ample, mouthfilling and with plenty of obvious attraction. Soft, deep berry flavours and fine gravely notes make for a complex yet generous feel. A very harmonious wine with a purity of fruit that is common to all the Rothschild properties in this vintage.
