2003 Château Trottevieille, 1er Grand Cru Classé St-Emilion

2003 Château Trottevieille, 1er Grand Cru Classé St-Emilion

Don't miss Trotte Vieille. It was impressive when we tasted it at the end of March and has come on leaps and bounds since. In our view many 2003 st-émilions lack charm but not this, which displays rich, fresh, succulent fruit on the nose and a spicy black cherry and plum-inspired palate. Finishes with a rush of natural, succulent sweet fruit. Of a stature not seen at the property in a long time.
