2000 Château Haut-Bernat, Puisseguin-St-Emilion
Good density of colour here, almost opaque, and offering aromatics of dark berry fruit and toasted oak. The palate is luxuriantly textured for a wine of this level; fleshy and expansive with vibrant fruit. A medium-bodied wine that shows good concentration making for a style that is approachable in its youth, but will age well over the mid-term.
